The careprost eye drops, also known as Lumigan and Latisse in the United States, is an ophthalmic solution used to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in the treatment of glaucoma, a condition in which the IOP is elevated due to a build-up of fluid in the eye. The careprost improves aqueous fluid outflow out of the eye, lowering IOP and preventing vision loss. Careprost eye drops are also used to reduce IOP in those who have ocular hypertension.
