Dearest Tribe Members,

John 18:37-38“You are a king, then!” Said Pilate.Yeshua/Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”“What is truth?” retorted Pilate.

Truth is the foundation of God. It defines who our Creator is as well as shapes our reality and gives a foundation for how and why we live. Yeshua tells us He is the Way, the Truth, and the Light.

It also is the key to freedom, and it gives power to our Declaration of Independence.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”It is our way to connect with Abba/ Our Father, Yeshua/ the Messiah, and the Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Spirit.

John 4:24 ESV“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

It is the way of salvation.

John 14:6 CJB Yeshua said, “I AM the Way — and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through me.”

And yet the current world has abandoned truth for relativism - there is no absolute truth; it is whatever the individual wants it to be. This ideology became most prevalent in 1962 when the Supreme Court abolished prayer in public schools and then abolished reading the Bible in 1963. Ban the source of truth and it becomes quite easy to change the reality of a population.

Our founding fathers of the United States believed that a free press was integral for a healthy free society. The constitution and bill of rights provided the framework from within where they could operate safely and freely. I used to imagine the journalists as our detectives for what is right and true… kind of like many Clark Kents working undercover. Instead, they have turned it into entertainment for hire. The mocking birds sway public opinion without blinking an eye, integrating CGI and subliminal messaging. They create the movie they want you to watch, and thus create your reality.

In 1952 the International Commission of the Press wrote that the American government was conducting so many operations that withheld top secret information from its people that it can no longer claim to be a free press. 

If the people do not get truth from the media, education system, or government, and they do not know their Creator or His Word, how can they know what reality is? They are easily swayed to believe in the wrong history and the wrong purpose of living. This, of course can lead to tragic outcomes not only in the physical realm, but in the spiritual realm as well.

And sadly, this false foundation can deceive people into walking in the kingdom of darkness instead of the Kingdom of God.

Now if God is the absolute Truth, who represents deceit and lies?

John 8:44CJB

Jesus tells the Judeans who want to kill him “You belong to your father, Satan, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. From the start he was a murderer, and he has never stood by the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he is speaking in character; because he is a liar — indeed, the inventor of the lie!”

Satan is the father of lies. He is the great deceiver and he is the Adversary of Truth. He wants you to forget who and what you are. He wants you to forget that God’s Word is Truth.

I pray that we all begin to reevaluate the assumptions that govern our countries, families, and world. Seek truth and act on it. Start a small Bible study in your home and use the Word to guide your actions. Everyone in the group can edify one another, as well as give support and strength.

We must take a stand for truth or fall for the kingdom of this world. We must all take the effort to evaluate data given to us and then to act upon it. Resist the false. When we are apathetic or stay silent on a matter it is considered a tacit acceptance, or agreement, to the matter.

Our words are powerful, especially when we come together in prayer. Stay tuned for online prayer meetings.
